Mr. President! Mr. Prime Minister! Mr Speaker! Mr. Minister!
an open letter to you we are approaching prompted enactment of the Federal Public Education Standard (GEF) for the high school. This document outlines the broad contours of a grand educational building, which will be built in our country, and also drawn some of his private parts. The devil is sitting in the little things - just about them and we want to say.
The standard that must be framework governing document, not a lot of numbers. That's why each figure attracts the eye.
4 (four) - so much compulsory subjects assumed study students (Russia in the world, OBZH, gymnastics, individual project).
six (6) - so much educational areas united in itself all other standard items a school, once granted the status of optional (elective). Among them: the Russian language, literature, mathematics, algebra, geometry, computer science, history, physics, chemistry, biology, geography.
1 (one) - just the right amount of items from each educational area may choose student (however, one area you can choose any two (2)). This means that the select and the Russian language and literature, or both algebra and geometry (not to mention and computer science), or both physics and chemistry (and biology) is impossible. It is written in the GEF project.
Our perplexity is the fact of such a restructuring of the educational plan. From any point of view of the state cares about its future, is not beneficial:
- declare the object on the choice of the state language proficiency is should be the main base skill of any citizen;
- declare the object on the choice of mathematics, constitute another language, without which "Does not say" no other science;
- declare the object on the choice of history, without knowing which it is impossible to navigate in the contemporary world, aware of their roots, build a strategy for life behavior.
And finally, for a country like Russia, is not only unprofitable, but is against the refusal from the compulsory study of older adolescents of Russian literature, which in essence, represents Russia in the world and is the basis for the country's citizens safety.
Recall: in high school reading of Pushkin, Lermontov, Gogol, Turgenev, Ostrovsky, Goncharov, Leskov, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Blok, Akhmatova, Shlohova, Solzhenitsyn ... Without studying this literature (and this is an age in which there are high school students) can not shape that identity, which is so smooth and beautifully narrates the standard.
Open any of the goals of education in the standard - and you'll see that it can not be achieve, if not read books, do not think about the experiences of people sakkumulirovannym in the literature. Without a profound literary and wider - the aesthetic - Education do not get no softening of manners, no conscious relationship to the country (patriotism), or even increasing the competitiveness of the state as a whole.
We demand from you as from the country's leaders, who must calculate the risks of decisions, to veto a radical reshaping the curriculum and transfer to the status of the subjects in the choice of its main disciplines. We demand the convening of a representative meeting of the country's teachers, parent community and students to discuss the future of education. Future of education - the future of every one of us, and Russia as a whole.
